Joseph Charles Brown Declares for Rivers House of Assembly.

Joseph Charles Brown has officially declared to represent the people of Degema Local Government Area in the Rivers State House of Assembly under the All Progressives Congress party.

Mr. Brown met with 21 members of his campaign team, including the Director General (DG) Community Co-coordinator, axis Co-coordinator and legal adviser. The event was held at Taman Suite in Port Harcourt.

Speaking during the meeting, the House of Assembly aspirant reiterated the need for them to put all hands on deck to see this dream come true. “The youths have been sidelined in the affairs of politics for so long, this is because it is believed that they have little or nothing to offer as it seems they lack expertise and experience; but I’m here to prove that notion and stereotype wrong. I am young, with youthful vigor and enthusiasm to serve the people of Degema”, He added.

Speaking further, Mr. Joseph Brown said the dream to contest was born out of passion to right the wrongs in Degema under his jurisdiction. According to him, the people of Degema community deserve a better and promise-fulfilling candidate and that’s the role he has come to fill. Having travelled far and wide, served under notable political office holders, Mr. Brown said he has amassed and armed himself with the right experience to serve the people better. 

The high point of the event was the inauguration of the 20-man team for the campaign led by Hon. Olu Harry as the Director-General.

Responding on behalf of the newly inaugurated co-coordinators, Mr. Richman Benibo reaffirmed their support and loyalty to the aspirant. He said he is highly elated to be among the chosen ones therefore will never go back on his words to stand by him, urging members of the team to be vigilant and never cower in the face of opposition.

Mr. Michael Duke and Obomate Berepiki, a member of the campaign committee also assured the aspirant of victory if he sticks to his gum to serve the people and give a listening ear to their suggestions when necessary.
