Ghana’s leading private technology university, Accra Institute of Technology, AIT has been rated the 9th best university in Ghana and number one among private universities in the country.
The ranking was made public at the Universal Merchant Bank Ghana Tertiary Awards where the top 20 tertiary Institutions in Ghana were unveiled cutting across both public and private schools in Ghana.
The Ranking is an audit on the strengths, weaknesses of the Tertiary Institutions and independent research (Questionnaire method on sampling views) done by UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards.
Based on how the institutions perform across the four indicators, UMB GTA Rankings produces rankings that are designed to access the Tertiary Institutions in four areas; Employability, Research, Innovation and Problem Solving Skills.
The UMB GTA received over 50, 000 nomination applications from students from all over the 133 Tertiary Institutions in Ghana in 2017. The UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards Rankings with the nomination applications and evidence received from the over 50,000 students across the country was subjected to our four Indicators.
This evidence is verified and the Tertiary Institution is given an overall score of 10 as well as a score for each category.
This is the latest of many other top awards, both local and foreign that has been received by the Accra Institute of Technology, AIT.
