Dissatisfied with the endless disparity in minority representation in global broadcasting, IFN TV is a response to the many who continue to squirm at how anything Africa is routinely portrayed on the global media stage.
Over the next decade, we will shutter the nearly impenetrable glass ceiling within the walls of the global media elites and shape the message about the African peoples, repairing the mindset of those who insist that the lenses through which the story of Africans should always be told too often must be clouded by persistent stereotypes. From classic documentaries to short films, series all around the African continent, we would be championing the cause of telling the African story from the African perspective. That is the story of IFN TV.
Our plan is simple: constantly looking at Africa in a more positive light; building, projecting, promoting and reinforcing the new face of 21st century Africa.
